Kick Your Workout Up With These 4 Fitness Apps

Whether you’re dealing with a crazy busy schedule, need a change in your workout routine, or just simply need more motivation-there’s an app for that! Getting to the gym can be difficult for some, or just plain intimidating. But don’t let that deter you from getting a good workout in! If you have a smart phone, it’s as easy as hitting download and you have; a trainer, motivation, and workouts in the palm of your hand.

By simply doing some research, and using these apps ourselves-we’re sharing four of our favorite health and fitness apps.

1. The SkyFit App:

This app is a great choice for those of you who may travel often for work. You have a trainer in your ear through your entire workout whether you want to; bike, run outdoors, run on the treadmill, or prep for a 5k. This is a personal favorite of ours because not only do you get motivational trainers pushing you through your workout, but they play music as you go as well (and it’s always a great playlist).

2. The Map My Run App

If you are an avid runner, or are just beginning this is a great app to have! Between GPS tracking your run, telling you when you’ve hit each mile, and giving you all of your workout stats at the end-it’s a must have. If you aren’t feeling a run and prefer jumping on a bike, the app has an option for that as well! Legs sore from all of your running and biking and just want to go on a nice walk? You can still track that on Map My Run! So, what are you waiting for! Get downloading (and running)!

3. The Daily Burn App

If you like a good group workout class, but can’t get to your local gym-Daily Burn has you covered! The workouts range from 15 minutes to an hour long, have different levels of intensity, and you can use this anywhere!

Note: New users get a month free, but after that you do have to subscribe for $12.99 per month-but compared to gym membership costs these days, that’s nothing!

4. The 8Fit App

Download 8Fit for free and get custom workout plans, meal plans, one-on-one coaching, and progress tracking! That’s a lot in one app that people pay thousands of dollars for. If you figure out your goals, insert them into the app, and it builds the rest for you. How convenient right? This app has five star reviews across the board, and we think you’ll love it as much as we do!

Working out doesn’t have to be boring, so kick it up a notch with one of these awesome fitness apps!
